For our family, this journey began over 60 years ago, long before exports, certifications, or global markets were part of the conversation. It began with hands that understood fibre, mornings that smelled of fresh coir, and a belief that honest work would always find its place in the world.
Jayasree Coir Mills was built generation by generation — not overnight, not in boardrooms, but on factory floors, beside looms, and through years of learning what quality truly means.
When we started exporting in 1989, it was a proud moment for our family. Sending our products beyond India meant sending a part of our home, our tradition, and our reputation with every shipment. Every container carried not just coir products, but our family name — and that responsibility has shaped everything we do since.
Today, the business is managed by the third generation, but the values remain unchanged:
