Hello folks, Recently I've completed my 5 bhk villa design ( Academic work ) . Here I subtracted few spatial volumes from cuboid ( Form ) to create recessed entrance, car parking , swimming pool and balcony for this villa.

The Inconvenient experience :
Plastic is a ubiquitous pollutant. Over 12.7 million tonnes of plastic are washed into the ocean every year . Single use plastic needs hundreds of years to decompose, threatening the Marine ecosystem. Marine species ingest and get tangled up in plastic which might lead to their extinction.

The inspiration for the installation project is to recreate the inconvenience experienced by oceanic life caused by plastics, through user experience in the installation. A difficult perilous movement is the experience designed for the human mimicking the plight of sea creatures.
The fabric walls made of recycled plastics on both sides mimics the ocean waves throughout the journey. First the entry has (PET) bottles hanging through out the ceiling creating a visual barrier and a step towards oceanic journey. The second phase of the installation is a pathway filled with single use plastic products like plastic bags, straws, cups etc., creating a barrier in the user movement. The third takes one deep inside the ocean experiencing ghost nets which tangled thousands of marine species.

The installation made from recycled plastics can be placed in nodes of beaches all over the world creating awareness through experience.
