CLUB STYLE LEMON CHICKEN
Bring the club vibes home !! This club style Indian Lemon chicken is the ultimate elite starter. It is the absolute best companion for a cold evening drink or a lazy Sunday family luncheon.
Chicken (Without Skin) - 1kg
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Garlic & Ginger paste - 2 tsp
Curd - 1 cup
Lime Juice - 5 tsp
Groundnut oil - 5 tsp
Garlic chopped
Ginger chopped
Curry Leaves
Onion Layers - 2 whole onions
Capsicum chopped
Chicken Masala Powder
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Salt to Taste
Corn Flour Powder - 2 - 3 tsp
Coriander Leaves
How to make this??
In a mixing bowl add chicken, turmeric powder, pepper powder, salt, ginger garlic paste, thick curd, lemon juice mix well and keep aside for 1 hour for marination.Even 30 mins will do if you are in a hurry.
In a wok add 5 tablespoons of oil once it’s heated add chopped garlic and ginger, curry leaves, onion slices, capsicum slices and add a bit of water and add the marinated chicken and add all the spice powders,salt and close lid and cook till the chicken is soft.
In a cup mix corn flour with water and make a slurry and pour it into the cooked chicken and mix gently. Add other half of lime juice and chopped coriander leaves. Serve as a starter.
