Many of my friends and family who has seen me 4 years back would say I’m changed. My friends from school know me as a studious, quiet, naive girl who would just about believe anyone. My friends from college knew me as someone who would do whatever it takes to fit in and be “cool”. To those that knew me from church that I used to be part of, I was the most active, godly and first in line to do everything to serve God. To my family, I was a sweet, submissive girl who would do everything to please the people in my life. All my life I have been a different person to the different people in my life, all the while, being confused, insecure and a hypocrite.
But 4 years back, I truly met the Lord and had a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit through a man that God ordained over me - my dear Appa, Pr. Abhilash Varghese. I realised that I had been a hypocrite all my life, being different things to different people by hiding away my true identity of being a daughter of God.
The ministry of Pr. Abhilash and Pr. Ancy changed everything for me. I look at my life now and say that I’m not what people want me to be but I am what my Father called me to be - bold, beautiful, loving, wise and most importantly a beloved daughter. Far behind me are the days of being eaten up by thoughts of insecurity, guilt and timidity.
Me and my husband received a purpose in our lives through our Appa and for the past 4 years, we can boldly say that we are walking in the will of God because of a fatherly voice over us that directs our path. Our marriage prospered and we became fruitful. We enjoy joy and peace and the presence of God in our home everyday.
I received a Word and blessing to start a business, something that I never dreamed about doing. I especially want to mention the Dubai conference last year where the Lord blessed me through Appa with the empowerment to start the business. He spoke of a sudden launch to me and that’s what I saw in reality.
In 3 weeks, we are privileged to attend the Conference in Dubai for the third time. The past two years, I have witnessed the conference to be more glorious than the previous. And this year, we are believing for a greater glory, a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit, greater signs, wonders and prophetic utterances over people and the land. There are many travelling from India and other nations to be part of this conference. Some of my greatest moments of encounter with the Lord has been at this conference.
