The core radiates life , it is both seed and soil, a quiet force from which all forms emerg and to which they return .Blooming suggests growth and the passage of time and drifting leaves embody decay.

Acrylic Painting by Lali Makal

"This is an acrylic painting created by me. Although I am primarily a printmaking student, I have always been drawn to the idea of impressions and textures in my work. Because of this inclination, I often feel inspired to explore beyond my main subject and experiment with new visual experiences.

During my journey from Delhi to Justa , I carefully observed different impressions that caught my attention and felt visually striking to me. I tried to capture those impressions in this work. For example, the large black floral motifs that I noticed on bathroom tiles, or the patterns and textures of a table mat. These everyday visual elements stayed with me and inspired me to reinterpret them through my own artistic language in this painting."

Through platforms like Chitrashaala, such personal artistic explorations are given a meaningful space to unfold. It becomes a place where artists can translate their experiences into visual stories, allowing viewers to connect with the subtle beauty found in everyday impressions and the creative journeys behind them.
