Proud Moment for The KariGhars.

We are delighted to share that our Co-Founder & Chief Culture & Strategy Officer, Aash*ta Chadha, has been featured in - The Power List: Legacy Edition, celebrating 40 remarkable women who have inherited, transformed, or built legacies that will outlive them.

Recognised for redefining luxury interiors through human-centred and experiential design, the feature highlights Aash*ta’s belief that great design is not just about how a space looks, but how it supports the way people live every day.

From helping shape over 7,000+ homes to building a culture where design and ex*****on work seamlessly together, her journey reflects a commitment to creating homes that are intuitive, deeply personal, and rooted in real life.

The feature also acknowledges her role in fostering a people-first culture at The KariGhars - one that prioritises collaboration, creativity, accountability, and meaningful experiences for both clients and teams.

A kid’s room where ordinary moments feel magical.

A child’s bedroom is where their dreams feel real and their world quietly expands.
Where every year leaves something behind and takes something forward.
That is why a kids’ bedroom is never just about design.
It’s about holding precious moments you don’t want to rush.
The laughter, the mess, the quiet nights, the growing years.

That’s what guided this bedroom.

The space begins with imagination.
A ceiling that opens into a sky filled with soft glowing stars
not dramatic, but enough to make nights feel a little more magical.

The bunk bed with its structured frame and railing, feels like a small world of its own.
A place to climb into, retreat into, create stories within.
Behind it, the hexagonal wall adds a sense of movement.
The yellow and grey tones bring energy.
It feels playful and active like it belongs to a child who is always in motion.

And then the space finds balance.
The study area shifts the mood into something calmer, more focused.
Clean lines, soft lighting creating a quiet corner where imagination turns into thought.
But what truly defines this room is how it adapts through their growing years.

For the wardrobes offer a world of possibilities.
Because no two children relate to a space the same way.
Some are drawn to colour and playfulness.
Others begin to lean toward structure, patterns, or something more defined as they grow.

A bright yellow facade that feels cheerful and familiar, almost like something a child would draw.
Others reveal layers, textures, shutters with subtle detailing to playful graphic finishes that reflect a child’s personality.
Each option is intentional.
Aesthetically and emotionally.

Here play and rest exist side by side and joy feels effortless, constant.
And somewhere in between all of this you realise you’re not just designing a room.
You’re creating the space where they grow up.
And a place they’ll always remember as theirs.

Bedrooms that bring calm and comfort.

In a luxury bedroom, comfort feels almost weightless.
But more than that, it feels lived in, almost instinctive.
It’s where calm begins to feel intentional and
where silence feels rich rather than empty.
And slowly, without you noticing,
the urgency of the day starts to slip away.
The body rests and the mind follows quietly.

For us, a luxury bedroom is never about how it looks first.
It’s about how it lets you feel at the end of the day.
The way the lighting slows you down.
The way textures heighten the senses
The way the space asks nothing from you, except to rest.

In some bedrooms softness leads the experience.
Gentle neutral palettes, upholstered beds that feel inviting even from a distance and lighting that doesn’t just illuminate, but settles across the room.

Cove lights tracing the ceiling, warm bedside glows, sheer curtains diffusing daylight, everything working together to make the room feel held.
In these bedrooms where rest doesn’t have to be found.
It arrives on its own.

Then there are rooms where structure creates the feeling of calm.
Panelled headboards, layered textures, deeper tones balanced with warmth, a composition that feels intentional, almost grounding.
The symmetry, the vertical lines, the way light highlights edges and softens corners.
It brings a quiet sense of order to the mind.
Here, calm comes from clarity.

And then, there are spaces where simplicity takes over.
Clean lines, minimal layering, open layouts where light moves freely.
Nothing overwhelming, just a quiet, effortless rhythm.
These bedrooms simply make living feel easier.

And over time, that feeling becomes familiar.
It becomes comfort.
It becomes home.
And eventually, it becomes the one place you return to, without thinking.

Watch a dream home transform before your eyes.

Watching a dream home take shape carries a different kind of excitement…

It’s the quiet awareness that something beautiful is coming together.
That the life you’ve been imagining is slowly moving closer.
What once lived only in your mind… begins to exist around you.

Every step feels personal.
Every change feels like progress.
And somewhere along the way…
excitement begins to feel like belonging.

At first, these spaces felt open… almost echoing.
A luxury home in its earliest form… full of potential, not yet presence.

And then, the transformation begins to settle in.
The living room holds the height with quiet confidence.
Double-height windows soften with flowing drapes…
light no longer feels stark… it feels guided.
A warm sectional anchors the space, while muted blues and soft neutrals bring balance to the vertical scale.

The kitchen shifts into clarity.
Clean, handle-less finishes… a restrained palette…
everything aligned with precision.
It’s a space that doesn’t interrupt movement… it supports it.
Where everyday actions feels seamless.

The bedroom feels more personal.
Layered ceiling lights stretch across the room…
mirrors reflect softness…
and neutral textures begin to hold the space together.
It feels composed… restful…
like a place that understands the end of a long day.

The study corner and balcony bring in light differently.
Wooden flooring, clean work surfaces, open shelving…
light filters through the windows and rests gently across the desk.
It becomes a space for pause…
for quiet focus… for moments in between.

The family lounge carries warmth.
A softer palette… curved forms… layered cushions…
and a layout that invites you to sit, stay, and sink in.

And then the staircase wall…
What was once just a transition becomes a moment.
Delicate leaf-like installations catch the light as you move…
turning something functional into something you feel.

And somewhere in all of this…
the shift happens.
The house no longer feels like a work in progress.
It begins to feel like it already knows your life.

The Work Behind Every Luxury Home

Sometimes the most important work on a luxury home is the work nobody notices.
Not because it isn't valuable.
But because it has been done so well that it disappears into the final result.
When people walk into a completed home, they notice the elegance.
What they rarely see are the thousands of decisions, corrections, calculations and acts of craftsmanship that made those moments possible.

Luxury homes are built twice.
First in the mind. Then in reality.

And the people responsible for that second journey are the ex*****on teams.
Their work is often mistaken for labour.
In reality, it is problem-solving.

Every day, they translate drawings into dimensions. Concepts into materials. Intent into reality.
They work with surfaces that are never perfectly level. Materials that behave differently on site than they do on paper. Conditions that require judgement, adaptation and experience.
Luxury ex*****on is not about following instructions.
It is about understanding them.
A skilled carpenter does not simply shape wood. He understands alignment, tolerances and finishing.
An electrician does not simply pull wires. He understands how lighting will ultimately influence mood, ambience and experience.
An artisan does not simply execute a detail. He understands the standard that detail must meet.
True luxury is both physical and intellectual.
It requires skilled hands. But it also requires trained eyes.
The ability to anticipate issues before they happen. To identify imperfections others would miss. To know when something is technically complete, but not yet good enough.

This is the work you don't see.
The refining. The adjustments. The patience. The responsibility. The pride.

Every perfect alignment carries the fingerprints of people who care deeply about their craft and their contribution exists in every corner of it.

Because luxury interiors are not created by drawings alone.
They are created by ex*****on teams who have the skill to transform vision into reality - and the discipline to do it consistently.

Watch how vastu reimagined this Mandir.

Mandirs in a home are not just designed.
They are aligned.
Because when Vastu speaks in an Indian home, you listen.

When we first conceptualised this mandir, the natural instinct was to place the shrine on the wall directly opposite the entrance. It felt symmetrical. Centered. Architecturally balanced.
But mandirs are not guided by symmetry alone. They are guided by belief. By Vastu. By direction and energy.

As per direction and energy flow, the shrine had to move to the adjacent wall. But by then, we had already created a circular cut-out on the original wall. The niche was done. The form was defined.
This is where design becomes response, not reaction.
Instead of undoing the cut-out, we reimagined it.

It became the soul of the space - a softly backlit Kamdhenu portrait, glowing like a halo the moment you step in. The warm concealed lighting creates an aura. The mandala detailing adds depth. The lotus stems bring movement and life. It’s not just artwork - it’s a spiritual announcement.

Without saying a word, it tells you: this is a sacred space.
The actual shrine was then relocated to the adjacent wall, aligned perfectly as per Vastu. A clean platform, subtle drawers, concealed lighting, no visual clutter. Just calm. Just devotion.
Now when someone walks past, the Kamdhenu draws their gaze first. It prepares the mind. And as they turn, the shrine reveals itself in the right direction, energetically aligned.

What could have been a design error became an opportunity to deepen the experience.
In luxury interior design, especially in Bangalore homes where Vastu holds deep meaning, aesthetics must bow to alignment –
Alignment of direction. Alignment of light. Alignment of emotion.

Because a mandir is not about placement alone.
It is about intention.
And when intention meets thoughtful ex*****on, the space feels right - not just visually, but energetically.

A kitchen where design brings rhythm to routines.

A kitchen feels different…
when it’s designed to think with you.

Not just how it looks…
but how effortlessly it works.

Because cooking isn’t just about the task…
it’s about how the space makes you feel while you do it.

In this space, every system is built around that ease.

The pull-out pantry glides out in one motion…
everything visible, everything within reach…
no searching, no bending, no disruption.

The tall glass shutters with internal lighting…
turn storage into something intuitive.
You don’t open cabinets to find things…
you already know where they are.

The island becomes more than a surface…
with seamless integration, hidden storage…
and lighting that quietly lifts the entire space.
It supports you… without ever demanding attention.

Appliances sit exactly where they should…
aligned to your movement, your flow…
so the kitchen doesn’t slow you down… it moves with you.

Even the overhead systems…
open shelving, suspended structures…
create accessibility without clutter…
keeping the space light, breathable, and easy to use.

Because true luxury in a kitchen…
is not about adding more features.
It’s about designing systems
that remove effort from everyday living.

Where movement feels instinctive…
where every step feels lighter… simpler… calmer.
And over time, this kitchen becomes a space
you don’t just use…
you enjoy being in.
