The house is designed to respond to the hot, humid summers and heavy monsoon climate of Odisha. Double-height terraces are introduced as breakout spaces, allowing for better air movement and informal outdoor use. Large openings are strategically placed to capture the cooler evening breezes, promoting natural ventilation and helping to regulate indoor temperatures.
