A Divine Duo: Faith, Food & Forever Family Ties!
As the Diwali glow continues, we celebrate two incredible festivals: Govardhan Puja (Annakut) and Bhai Dooj (Bhai Phota).
Govardhan Puja honors Lord Krishna's divine act of lifting the Govardhan Hill with his little finger, protecting his devotees from the storm of arrogance. It's a powerful reminder that unwavering faith is the greatest shield. We celebrate with the Annakut feast—a 'mountain of food'—offering our deepest gratitude to God and Mother Earth for their immense bounty.
Bhai Dooj celebrates the sacred sibling bond. With the Tika/Tilak ceremony, sisters offer heartfelt prayers for their brothers' long and prosperous lives, and brothers renew their promise of protection. This day is a beautiful testament to the unconditional love, shared memories, and unique strength of the brother-sister relationship.
May Lord Krishna's grace and the sweetness of your sibling bond bless your day with happiness and prosperity!
