Dining in the Desert

A dining room designed around the quiet drama of raw materials and refined forms.

At its heart, a solid wood dining table brings an almost primitive, rustic warmth—its organic, irregular edge adding character to the space. Contemporary dining chairs introduce a neat, relaxed counterpoint, keeping the setting modern and effortlessly chic.

A softly wavy wall finished in Corten steel adds depth, texture and a beautiful desert-toned patina, while minimal pendant lighting keeps the ceilingscape deliberately understated.

And for those who asked about the flooring—charcoal-grey Indian granite in a honed finish, chosen for its quiet texture and natural sophistication.

Rustic chic. Desert calm. Understated luxury.

The spaces in between..

In the Nokha home, the passageways and common areas were designed to be more than just transitions between rooms.

They are moments in themselves — spaces that slow you down, create a mood, and quietly tell the story of the home.

A console to pause by.
A favourite chair to retreat into.
A quiet corner for reading, collecting, creating or simply doing nothing.
Objects, art, textures and natural light come together to give these in-between spaces a sense of character.

Every corner has a purpose, yet nothing feels overly designed.

It is understated luxury — where comfort, craftsmanship and restraint come together to create spaces for me time, hobbies, conversations and quiet moments of unwinding.

Because sometimes, the most memorable parts of a home are not the rooms themselves, but the spaces in between.

Where architecture dissolves into the landscape..

The living room extends effortlessly into a private outdoor sanctuary, where the threshold between indoors and out almost disappears. Framed by warm timber pergolas and anchored by a tranquil plunge pool, this space is designed as an extension of everyday living—equally suited to intimate gatherings, slow afternoons, or moments of quiet solitude.

In the heart of the Thar, luxury is not defined by excess, but by openness, light, and the privilege of lingering in nature’s stillness.

The expansive living area in our Nokha project has our heart. 🤍

Bathed in natural light and soaring to an impressive 24-foot floor-to-ceiling height, this space is designed to feel both monumental and serene. One of its most distinctive architectural features is the series of glass pyramids integrated into the ceiling, allowing abundant daylight to flood the interiors while helping keep the home naturally cool throughout the day.

Thoughtfully planned around light, volume, and climate, this living room is a celebration of architecture that is as functional as it is beautiful.

A dining room designed to feel like an escape..

Rooted in the poetry of a Persian garden, this space blends warmth with quiet luxury. The ceiling is adorned with small-scale Persian carpets, creating an unexpected layer of texture and story overhead, while the graphic wall art above the sideboard echoes the geometry and romance of a blooming garden.

A muted material palette sets the stage—soft, restrained, intentional—allowing color and craft to gently come alive. Modern alabaster suspended lights cast a diffused glow, elevating the atmosphere as linen table settings, candles, and fresh greens bring intimacy to every gathering.
