Project is envisioned through a desert modern–rustic architectural language, where contemporary hospitality design is grounded in heritage expression. The architecture balances clean, restrained forms with earthy textures, creating warm, immersive spaces that feel both timeless and rooted in place.

| Context & Site Response |
Set within the UAE landscape at an elevation of 860 meters above sea level, the design responds sensitively to its context. The spatial planning establishes a seamless dialogue between interior and exterior environments, framing views, moderating climate, and enhancing the experiential connection to the surrounding terrain.

| Materiality & Sustainability |
Material honesty defines the project, with load-bearing stone masonry forming the primary architectural character, complemented by finely crafted wooden details. Custom lighting is carefully integrated to enhance textures and spatial depth while minimizing visual intrusion. Sustainable design strategies guide material selection and construction, resulting in an architecture that respects its environment while delivering a refined hospitality experience.

The resort’s stone cottages embody a philosophy of sustainable luxury. Constructed from locally-quarried dry-stacked stone, they minimize environmental impact while echoing the timeless beauty of the region. Spacious windows framed in warm wood flood the interiors with natural light and showcase breathtaking panoramic views. This thoughtful design seamlessly blends the indoors with the outdoors, allowing guests to experience a deep connection with the surrounding landscape.
Scattered across the property are eight of these exquisite cottages, each meticulously placed to maximize the panoramic vista. This ensures that every guest can wake up to stunning views and enjoy the beauty of the landscape from the comfort of their own private sanctuary.

Our design ethos is one of immersive simplicity. Whether you opt for indoor or al fresco dining, the captivating surroundings of the desert mountains take center stage.

A captivating feature of this architectural endeavor is the integration of an infinity swimming pool area, meticulously designed to embrace the dual role of relaxation and event hosting.

The primary materials—stone, wood, mud —are sourced exclusively from the site, celebrating the essence of the location. Furthermore, the client’s commitment to renewable energy sources reflects a conscientious approach to minimize environmental impact.

We had seeked to engage with the formidable surroundings, allowing the design concept to seamlessly intertwine with the desert mountain’s character. It’s not merely a structure but an expression of respect for the environment, a synthesis of contemporary design and nature’s timeless beauty.
