With profound grief and an immeasurable sense of loss, we mourn the passing of Ar. Noufal C Hashim, an exceptional architect, visionary leader, mentor, and a deeply cherished human being.
As the Chairperson of the lIA Calicut Centre, and the principal force behind twoi Architects, Noufal shaped not only buildings and public spaces, but also the architectural consciousness of an entire generation. His work stood as a rare balance of sensitivity, clarity, and purpose.
From landmark public projects such as Samudra Auditorium to his immense contribution towards strengthening the architectural community through IlA and Rotary, his presence was impactful far beyond the profession. He inspired through his calm leadership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to design and society.
His passing leaves a void that words cannot truly capture. The architectural fraternity has lost a remarkable mind, and many of us have lost a dear friend, guide, and source of encouragement.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
May his family find strength and solace in this difficult time. And may his legacy continue to live on through the spaces he created, the lives he touched, and the countless people he inspired.
The mortal remains will be kept for public homage tomorrow from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Samudra Auditorium.
