Architect and Urban Designer Horeb Moses presents his post graduate thesis titled 'Dustopia'.
The thesis explores the conundrum of dust pollution in London, utilizing the ideology of Big Data architecture to map and quantify the nature of particulate matter on site. Using this information, a working prototype was created that, when applied over a particular dust prone area, attracts dust particles towards itself, thus creating a pollution free zone while making a vivid political statement on the issue of dust.
This was achieved through several material tests and simulations of prototype and site models, using both digital and physical methods.
