*🍔🔥 High Joint Burgers & Wings Review in Anna Nagar.*

Recently visited High Joint Burgers & Wings in Anna Nagar.
The ambience was good, chill vibe, and the food was honestly impressive.

Here’s what we tried 👇

🍟 High Loaded Fries – 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good in taste, nice flavour overall…
but somehow felt like something was slightly missing. Still a solid choice.

🍔 Fly High Chicken Burger – 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This one was really good.

If you’re someone who doesn’t prefer very spicy burgers, this is your safe and perfect option. Balanced flavour, juicy chicken, soft bun.

🌶️🍗 Hot Fried Chicken Burger – 10/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

For all my spicy food lovers & Nashville chicken fans —

THIS is your burger.

Crispy. Spicy. Proper heat.

Definitely the star of the visit.

🥤 Black Currant Mojito – 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Refreshing and good.
Nice drink to balance the spice.

🔥 Overall:

Good ambience, strong burger game, especially if you love spicy food.
Definitely worth trying in Anna Nagar.

*🍽️ A2B Adyar Ananda Bhavan – Veg Restaurant Review*

Recently visited the A2B Thirumullaivoyal branch.

The ambience was pleasant and well-maintained, and there’s a huge collection of sweets, snacks, and savouries to choose from — typical A2B style.

*What We Tried:*

⭐ Paneer Tikka Masala – 3.5/5

Taste-wise it was good, but honestly, the quantity was very very less for the price.

⭐ Plain Naan – 3/5

Just okay. Nothing special.

⭐ Butter Garlic Naan – 4/5

This one was really good. Soft, flavourful, and worth ordering.

⭐ Pani Poori – 3.5/5

Tasted good, but it was stuffed too much with potato, which felt unnecessary.

⭐ Ginger Tea – 5/5 ☕

Hands down the best item we had. Absolutely amazing.

*Overall* :

Good ambience, wide variety, and consistent quality — but portion size could be better, especially for gravies.
If you’re visiting, don’t miss the ginger tea.

*Ulundu Vadai | Medu Vada from Scratch 🔥 | Crispy & Soft Tips & Tricks*

Just the right soaking, grinding, beating, and shaping techniques.

If your vadas turn hard, flat, or oily — this method will fix it.

*🧂 Ingredients*

*For Soaking & Grinding:*

* Urad Dal / White Lentils – 3 cups
* Raw Rice – 3 tbsp
* Water – 2 cups (for soaking)
* Salt – 1 tsp
* Green Chilli – 1

*For Batter Mix:*

* Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
* Green Chilli – 1 (chopped)
* Curry Leaves – 1 tbsp (chopped)
* Ginger – 1 tbsp (chopped)
* Coriander Leaves – handful
* Salt – ½ tsp
* Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
* Rice Flour – 1 tbsp
* Asafoetida (Hing) – ½ tsp
* Baking Soda – ½ tsp

*For Frying:*

* Oil – as required

*🔥 How to Prepare (Step-by-Step with Tips):*

1️⃣ Soak Properly

* Wash urad dal and rice 3 times
* Soak with water for 5–6 hours
* After soaking, separate dal and soaked water
* Reserve the lentil water — very important

2️⃣ Grind the Batter

* Add salt to blender jar
* Add urad dal + green chilli
* Pulse once
* Add reserved lentil water little by little
* Grind to a coarse, fluffy paste (not smooth)

3️⃣ Mix the Batter

* Transfer batter to a bowl and add:
* Onion
* Green chilli
* Curry leaves
* Ginger
* Coriander leaves
* Salt, pepper powder
* Rice flour
* Mix gently.

Now add:

* Hing
* Baking soda

👉 Beat the batter for 3–5 minutes

This adds air and makes vadas soft inside.

4️⃣ Shaping Techniques (Very Important Tip)

Glass + Plastic Sheet Method:

* Cover glass top with plastic sheet
* Secure with rubber band
* Grease plastic + your hands with oil
* Place batter, shape hole easily

✔️ Spoon Method (Easy):

* Grease back of spoon
* Add batter on spoon
* Slide directly into hot oil
* Both methods work perfectly.

5️⃣ Frying

* Heat oil on medium flame
* Drop vadas gently
* Fry till golden brown
* Flip occasionally for even cooking

Crispy outside ✨

Is It Just Me? Desi Family Gatherings Edition 😅

Because nothing boils the blood of a *girl* faster than a desi family gathering.

“Beta marks kitne aaye?”
“Shaadi ka kya plan hai?”
“Arre tum toh pehchaani hi nahi ja rahi!”

Smile on the face. Chaos in the head. 😇🔥
You survive on snacks, eye contact with cousins, and silent screaming.

“I have… whatever condition this is called.” 😅

Is it just me? Or are we all mentally exhausted before the chai is even served?

Drop a ☕ if you’ve survived one recently.
