In Belgium, ground to build on is very scarce, especially in popular locations. Therefore, a pro- ject developer asked us to design a building on a curved plot, part of which was already taken by an electricity booth.

Of course H-Architects took the challenge and designed a building where 10 apartments fit in the curved building. As the building regulations in Belgium are very strict, is was not easy to meet all the criteria and our architects had to use their full set of skills and techniques to make it work.

The building also features big terraces for each apartment, and an underground parking garage.

This historic house in the Antwerp city centre was in a very bad condition. H-Architects did a complete renovation to turn it into a modern 4-bedroom family home.

The outside was kept close tot he original state, but the interior was completely transfor- med. The interior design with lots of elements in wood and natural stone are timeless and beautifully fit the historic structure.

This apartment building with 5 units is located in the city centre of Antwerp. The ground floor and second floor are the house of the owner. It consists of a spacious living space and kitchen, 5 bedrooms and several bathroom, all with luxury design.

On the other floors are 4 more apartments of various sizes, which are rented. Thanks tot he staircase-like shape of the building, all resident scan enjoy a very big, sunny terrace.
The project also includes a garden with poolhouse and 6 underground parking spaces. Featured techniques: floor heating, wall heating, elevator for cars, solar panels.
