Innovative Design Studio is where opulence, creativity, and sophistication converge.

Núa by a·emotional light is made from a single sheet of pleated stainless steel mesh, shaped into a cylinder. Switched on, the pleats catch the light and shadow in turn, so the surface reads differently as you move around it.

It comes as a pendant, a ceiling light and a table lamp. You can use one on its own or group several at different heights, as in the double-height space here.

Innovative Design Studio is now ILDL Decorative.

For two decades, ILDL has designed lighting for spaces across India. Along the way, we began bringing in decorative pieces from European makers we trust. That became Innovative Design Studio.

Both come from the same way of thinking about light. Now they share a name.

The collections and the Experience Centre stay as they are.

Two pendants from Axolight, each doing a different job. Bell’s pleated pongé shade, a fine silk-like fabric, spreads soft, even light over a dining table. Liaison is a single curved line ending in a small brass spot, with the light kept close and focused.

At Villa La Ripa nel Chianti, Studio Gambassi used both. A pair of Bells hangs under the original beamed ceiling, and a Liaison drops beside the bed.

In the lounge of this private residence in Delhi, Lederam Manta S1 pendants cluster together as a quiet point of interest overhead, while slender Light Stick sconces complement the geometry of the entrance in brass. Two very different kinds of presence, from the same hand.
