Waiting to be “discovered” is the biggest mistake.
The world doesn’t come looking for artists anymore.

You have to show your work, talk about it, put yourself out there

Silence kills more careers than bad art.

What if art isn’t always something you see… but something you feel?

A short break for Calvin Harris,
just a reminder that art isn’t limited to canvas.

Artists focus on improving art. But ignore everything else.

What actually builds a career:
Consistency, visibility, communication, & basic understanding of money.

Art alone is not enough.
How you present and position it matters.

Most students don’t realise this.

Art isn’t just a hobby.
You can actually study it, choose it, and build a career around it.

The problem isn’t lack of options.
It’s lack of awareness.

I’m Prahlaad Singh Kalha, Grade 11, Vasant Valley School.

Can art actually be a career… or just a passion?
Most people love art.
Very few understand how it becomes a career.

In the next few posts, I’ll break this down,
What works, what doesn’t, and what artists actually need to know.

I’m Prahlaad Singh Kalha, Grade 11, Vasant Valley School.

If Instagram can make a painting go viral overnight… why do so many good artists still stay invisible?

Having an Instagram account isn’t the same as knowing how to use it well.
In this series, I’ll be sharing a few simple ways artists can use Instagram more thoughtfully - not just to post their work, but to help the right people discover it.

I’m Prahlaad Singh Kalha, Grade 11, Vasant Valley School, and I believe exposure shapes creativity more than theory.

To understand art, you have to experience it.
Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves tell stories carved in stone.
Bhimbetka Rock Shelters remind us that art existed long before galleries.
Rajasthan miniatures teach patience and detail.

These are a few places I strongly recommend every young artist should visit at least once.

Finance, technology and culture are deeply connected. Money shapes who creates and participates, while technology decides how that access is distributed.

Artists need more than talent — they need systems that support funding, collaboration and visibility.

I’m Prahlaad Singh Kalha, Class 11, Vasant Valley School, exploring how finance and technology can include artists instead of leaving them out.

If we can finance a house before it’s built,
why can’t we finance art before it’s created?

During my fintech internship, I noticed something.

Finance is getting faster and smarter — yet many artists still feel locked out.

I’m Prahlaad Singh Kalha, Class 11, Vasant Valley School, and I want to bring about a change in the life of artists who want to make a name for themselves.

Artists often struggle with basic costs — travel, materials, or showcasing their work.

I’ve been thinking about simple financial solutions, like low-interest loans through fintech, that could make these steps easier.

Spending time with Golden Shine reminds me that talent doesn’t depend on perfect vision - it depends on opportunity, encouragement, and belief.

Watching a visually impaired artist perform on stage, and seeing the crowd support them, feels like a reminder of what real inclusion looks like - not sympathy, but respect.

Sometimes, lending a small helping hand can open doors to confidence, dignity, and moments that feel magical.

Gond art never felt like something I learned - it’s something I grew up around.
With my maternal home in Bhopal, this art was always part of my visits, my memories, and the way I saw the world.

My Nani and my mother were always close to art, so stories, colours, and meaning were a normal part of my childhood. That’s why Gond art feels personal - it reminds me of how they taught me to look closely, feel deeply, and listen to what art is trying to say.

This journey is less about studying an art form, and more about returning to the one that shaped my earliest memories.
