With development accelerating and land parcels shrinking, the question is no longer how wide institutions can grow, but how high. This vertical shift is redefining planning, circulation, and learning environments across campuses.

Partner Saurabh Gupta explores this evolution and its impact on schools and institutional architecture in Tycoons Magazine. Read his insights here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/pe3pko8yvx49bor9a1d3e/Tycoons_VGA_2025.pdf?rlkey=we3h16qte48q4qdjr0lsyfvk2&e=3&st=mb8oy2qe&dl=0

What makes a child truly belong to a space?

Is it the ease of comfort, or the thrill of discovering something new? Belonging begins when a child feels understood by their surroundings, when the space moves with their pace and holds space for their voice and imagination.

Listen in as our partners reflect on creating environments where children feel at home while they grow.

A school facade found its rhythm through iterations.

Version by version, we traced proportions, tuned the play of light, and aligned structure with the life inside. Each sketch refined the next, slowly shaping an elevation that feels grounded, responsive, and alive to its learners. Design, here, was a process of listening and refining until the facade began to carry the spirit of the school itself.

In a recent feature with , Partner Arti Gugnani reflects on a more grounded idea of design.

Simplicity, she shares, is never about stripping a space down for aesthetics alone. It is a measured way of thinking that clears visual noise, resolves circulation, and allows hospitals and care environments to move with the natural rhythm of healing.

A conversation that touches dignity and the everyday realities of healthcare. Read more here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/4bg82c85c81sc1n10daiz/Express-Healthcare_Arti-Gugnani_January-2026.pdf?rlkey=ciugleldhxljmixjs1hi97ka2&st=ot9za5um&dl=0

Architecture is constantly mediating the relationship between the natural and the man-made. As nature’s presence continues to recede within modern urban life, the question becomes how our built environments can respond to this growing disconnect by engaging more deeply with the natural and fostering a consciously symbiotic relationship.

In the latest issue of Magazine, Partner Saurabh Gupta and Akanksha Gupta explore this dialogue through the design of Euro School, Bannerghatta, reflecting on how architecture can reconnect people with their environment.

At Mother’s Pet Kindergarten, certain design elements change what the space can do.

As furniture shifts and surfaces invite use, corridors and double-height play areas transform from passages into places of learning. The school adapts to children’s movement and imagination, allowing spaces to reset throughout the day and making exploration part of everyday experience.

Our upcoming Amity International School in Airoli, Maharashtra, is conceived as a vertical school, shaped around an interconnected central volume that brings the building together. Staggered terraces look across levels, allowing students to see, sense, and engage with one another as they move through the school.

This central volume draws daylight deep into the interior, softening the vertical scale and creating spaces that feel open and inviting. The architecture plays with form and section to introduce moments of interaction and discovery throughout the building, turning circulation into an experience rather than a transition.

Work is currently underway on a part of the hostel complex with integrated recreational and sports facilities at the BML University campus. Envisioned as a key component of student life, this development brings together residential spaces with areas for recreation and movement, contributing to the campus’s evolving built environment.

More updates to follow as the campus continues to take shape!

At Vedanya School, curiosity is designed into the everyday.

Transparency and long vision lines let learning spill beyond the classroom. Children see questions unfolding elsewhere and are drawn to ask their own. Flexible seating and open edges encourage movement, choice, and dialogue. When learning is visible, and space remains adaptable, architecture invites children to explore before they are ever told to.
