The first site specific artwork to be installed is an immersive installation entitled Gondwana, evoking a resonant lingering presence in the principal lobby of the headquarters. Celebrating the aura and mystery of sacred geographies and memory, Long before the advent of human civilization.
Gondwana at its inception was an experiment in understanding, cross-cultural insight with creative collaboration. The Gonds from Madhya pradesh and the Warlpiri people from Australia share a subconscious connection rooted in the nature that surrounds them. Their methods of art practice are connected despite the huge geographical gaps between them. Their methods of speech may differ, but they share stories through their art and song.
Gondwana is the Adani group's first tribute to innovation in cross cultural collaboration. It will continue to manifest in different incarnations sparking an ongoing multilongues across ocean and eras.

The Manganiyar community, who hail from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, are known for their folk music. They are also called Merasis, keepers of the desert stories as their songs are passed on from generation to generation, preserving their cultural identity. Due to the caste prejudice, most of them still live in poverty and are denied access to basic education and healthcare. The only source of income for the Manganiyar’s, apart from the Rajput patronage, is through the storytelling and dance songs that they perform at marriages and festivities. With the Covid-19 lockdown, these self- employed musicians are out of work and have no resources to sustain themselves. We request all music lovers to support these communities by donating to our relief campaign.
The funds will be used to provide monthly supply of essentials like atta, oil, rice, sugar, etc.
