One of the biggest lessons I've learnt as an interior designer is that clients rarely object to design.

They object to uncertainty.

A client asking for more storage is often looking for peace of mind.

A client questioning a lighting plan is usually trying to understand its value.

A client comparing a custom piece to something available online is trying to make sense of the investment.

And a client wanting to recreate a Pinterest image is simply trying to hold on to a feeling they love.

Over time, I've realised that great design isn't just about creating beautiful spaces.

It's about listening carefully, understanding what sits beneath the question, and helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.

Because behind every objection is a conversation.

And behind every successful project is trust.

Trust that the space has been designed thoughtfully.
Trust that every decision serves a purpose.
Trust that the final result will not only look beautiful but feel right for the people living in it.

The homes I am most proud of aren't necessarily the most expensive or the most elaborate.
