This year, I have put the spotlight on 12 beautiful wild flowering plants growing in urban spaces. Some of them are really beautiful but not all of us have had the opportunity to see them up close. These beauties definitely deserve to be showcased and appreciated. Each of the twelve, detailed illustrations has been originally hand painted by me and then printed on beautiful 300 gsm Modigilani paper. I've loved working on every single sketch. Each painstaking stroke has been well worth it.

Just like each featured flora is unique, our calendar too is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind piece. The frame, made from high quality rubberwood, has been carefully put together and polished by hand and can be reused year after year. If not as a calendar, you could use the frame to showcase your photographs, your art, or something else.

Folks, I'm glad to share a special Rajyotsava honour that I recieved this morning.

I need to thank Prutha Bhonsle for this honour ! She has very beautifully reflected my penchant for detail in her write up. She followed me relentlessly for two months. I almost declined saying I don't have much to say or showcase. That's because I've always been apologetic about my skills and my work. But she said she finds me and my work very interesting and insisted I give her just a little time. After I finally got down to it and sent her my responses to her questions... I realised, it's been a long, arduous and fascinating journey indeed. A dear friend just connected on our school group... "I am so proud of her ! Wish the world wakes up and rises to recognise, acknowledge and applaud her versatility. She is one of a kind."

My joy wouldn't be complete without thanking my beloved Girmitt Designs and Apratimpous family for their faith in their moushi and her capabilities, and for their unstinted support over the years !!

Heartfelt gratitude to my dear friends (they know who they are) who have always trusted me, appreciated and cheered me in and just been there for me through it all.
