Ok I’m just going out on a limb here and pouring my heart out about something I’ve been feeling since a year. 😭 please I don’t want validation or anything but I just wanted to tell you guys that I love all of you who are here for my shot and shenanigans and my rants and spams but I have a guilt somewhere at the back of my head for not giving anyone anything useful. And I just wanted to let that out in the open because it is EATING ME UP!

The fact that people are starting to feel like the plants they have “are not good enough” and are starting to count the beauties and blessings of the garden by the way they are being priced in the very abusive plant market right now really breaks my heart.

Especially with foliage.

The foliage community is mostly negative and toxic now. Just wanted to show you how a wild mother of millions, just passed on around in cuttings and, most times isn’t even worth enough to be found for sale because of how abundantly it is found for free is also such a thing of beauty.

We already judge humans by how much possessions they have. Let’s not judge by how much money it brings you or drains you. They are beautiful in other ways, humans and plants too.

Here’s my last post for 2019. It’s so beautiful that the New Year is in winter. Winter is a big deal for me. It’s the time I grow, the time I look back at the harsh year I just fought and came out ever more stronger, wiser and more experienced. I was born in January. Naturally, I give away all my negativity and start anew with so many lessons learned, so many plans to go, so many battles to fight.

Pictured is my Chinese duncecaps. Tough summer, against all odds, it made it to now, growing in all its glory. Happy new year to everyone. Let’s get ready to tackle yet another year!
