Why settle for a soulless kitchen?

The soul of your home deserves more than neutrality. For too long, we’ve treated the kitchen as a purely utilitarian box, a "functional" space where design goes to die in a sea of safe, soulless neutrals. We shy away from color not because it doesn't belong, but because we fear the imbalance.

But the truth? The problem was never the color itself. The magic lies in the nuance: the specific shade, the depth of the tint, the way a texture responds to morning light, and how a material feels under your fingertips.

Texture Meets Tone: In this palette, the Powder Blue upper cabinetry isn't just a color choice; it’s an atmosphere. When paired with the organic grain of Ash Grey Wood and the tactile grounding of Medium Grey Quartz, the kitchen stops being a separate, "boring" room. Instead, it becomes a seamless extension of the homes curated concept.

Why Design the Kitchen?

▫️The Most Used Space: It is the heartbeat of the home. Why should the place where we spend the most time be the one lacking in character?

▫️Connection Over Isolation: By integrating thoughtful colors and rich textures, we bridge the gap between the kitchen and the living spaces, creating a single, serene entity.

▫️Beyond the Surface: Using the right contrasting ability like Matte Black accents against soft Marble flooring adds a layer of sophistication that proves functionality and beauty are not mutually exclusive.

Stop settling for "safe." Embrace a palette that offers depth, celebrates light, and brings a sense of calm energy back into the most important room of the house.

The Celestial Ceiling of Hisar-e-Sukoon serves as a focal point that mirrors a giant dewdrop or a ripple in a pool. The integrated LED strip provides a soft, halo-like glow that eliminates harsh shadows, mimicking the even, shadowless light of a misty morning.
This "dome" creates a psychological sense of shelter, truly defining the "enclosure."

▫️Organic Asymmetry:
The smoky wooden panels behind the television feature softened, rounded corners. This avoids the rigidity of a standard entertainment unit, making the technology feel more integrated into a natural, "spiritual" environment.

▫️Color Continuity:
The circular rug acts as the "earth" to the ceiling's "sky." Its overlapping geometric shapes in shades of blush, terracotta, and deep crimson feel like petals or autumn leaves resting on the white marble "frost." This brings the warmth of the rising sun into the center of the room, balancing the cool tones of the blue chairs.

▫️Seamless Integration: (ghost sliding door)
The sliding door is a, "hidden" element that deepens the concept of enclosure.
The door is designed with the same smoky wooden panels finish and rounded silhouette as the fixed T.V wall panels. When closed, it appears as a part of the tv back-panel design with its ghost sliding hardware.

▫️Fluid Motion:
The sliding door mechanism reinforces the theme of effortless, fluid movement. Instead of a swinging door that breaks the space, it glides open to provide a subtle, non-intrusive transition between different zones.

▫️The Gradient of Light:
The room is designed to feel "bathed" rather than just lit. The cove lighting tucked into the ceiling creates a seamless, shadowless wash of light down the walls. This eliminates harsh corners, making the room feel like it's contained within a soft, glowing cloud.

Hisar-e-Sukoon (The Enclosure of Tranquility)

Tucked into a dense neighbourhood, this independent house’s interior was designed with one primary goal: to serve as a peaceful sanctuary that shields its residents from the frantic energy of the streets outside.

We prioritised the use of natural materials and calming aesthetics to promote mental rejuvenation and spiritual connection.

Inspiration:
The Physical Freshness of Dew(shabnam) & The Spiritual Essence of Morning.

Design Intent:
▫️To capture the ephemeral, refreshing nature of dew through a balance of soft forms and a cooling palette.
▫️To create a sanctuary that feels both revitalizing and deeply calm, much like the quiet moment of a world newly washed in morning dew.

The Physical Freshness of Dew

▫️Fluid Silhouettes: The "bead-like" quality of dew is reflected in the soft, curved edges of the light-blue armchairs and the oblong, nested coffee tables. These shapes avoid harsh angles, creating a visual flow that feels organic and effortless.

▫️Lustrous Surfaces: The polished marble floor acts like a still pool of water, reflecting light and amplifying the room's airy feel. The wavy, full-length mirror mimics a shimmering ripple, bringing a sense of fluid movement to the walls.

▫️Textural Softness: The light-blue upholstery of the chairs has a tactile quality reminiscent of a field covered in morning frost, while the white curtains allow a soft, diffused light to filter in, much like the hazy glow of dawn.

The Spiritual Essence of Morning

▫️ A Grounding Palette: While the light blues and whites provide a "cool" morning air, the deep terracotta and clay tones in the rug and drapes ground the space. They represent the earth awakening, providing a warm, stable foundation for the lighter elements.

▫️The Weightless Swing: The indoor swing (jhula) serves as a centerpiece for contemplation. Its suspended nature evokes a feeling of weightlessness and suspension, encouraging a slow, meditative pace.

▫️Biophilic Connection: The inclusion of a lush green plant brings the vital energy of the outdoors inside, symbolizing the life-giving nature of dew as it nourishes the earth.

Visual Balancing:Kitchen & Dining space.
The other side of the partition wall houses the dining space. The dining table also functions as an additional counter space, a hotspot for family tea time and a workspace during odd hours.

Wooden beadings are used in combination with mirror and a different shade of wall paint to create the illusion of a longer space.

The kitchen/dining vibe is thoughtfully inspired from the earthy tones of mud ash and olive green in order to give it a calm and soothing effect in a space devoid of natural lighting.

The profile lights and a hanging light featured above the dining provide ample light leaving this space with a contemporary feeling.

Vertical and Horizontal Composition:
Characterized by a lack of ornamentation and a focus on clean lines, these spaces are designed to appear visually light and artistically composed.

Inspired by the Bauhaus style or the international style, this design concept emphasizes expressing volumes rather than masses.

Equipped with all the modern necessities and required storage, this kitchen is functionally and visually aligned with the client’s vision of a perfect kitchen.

The Binding Agent:
Art can be seen as a prominent part of this cozy dwelling.

Before → After.

The transition from a cramped, compartmentalized space to an open-concept, high-utility kitchen.

The original layout provided by the builder was highly restrictive, featuring two internal divider walls that carved the space into three small, dark zones:
▪️The Pantry Room: An enclosed storage area that blocked natural light.
▪️The Washing Corner: A separate utility nook that interrupted the kitchen's flow.

By removing these non-load-bearing partitions, we transformed a series of "closets" into one continuous, expansive culinary workspace.

The Benefits of the New Open Plan:
▪️Enhanced Light: Removing the walls allowed the light from the smaller windows to flood the entire room, eliminating the dark corners seen in the "Before" photos.
▪️Extended Counter Space: We turned what was once a wall into a long, uninterrupted run of black stone countertop.
▪️Integrated Storage: Instead of a walk-in pantry, we designed floor-to-ceiling cabinetry that offers more accessible storage without breaking the visual line.

This kitchen succeeds because it treats functional storage as a design feature.

A Cocoon of Natural Serenity and Gentle Shelter.

This bedroom is thoughtfully designed as a serene retreat for elderly guests.

▪️The Arched Headboard: The large wooden arch framing the botanical mural creates a visual "alcove" for the bed. This mimics the feeling of a canopy, which psychologically provides a sense of shelter. The delicate blossoming trees and birds inside the mural serve as a "window to nature," providing a peaceful visual anchor for the room.

▪️Built-in Uniformity: The floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and create flat, uncluttered surfaces which minimize visual "noise" that can be disorienting.

▪️Enveloping Warmth: Dark Wood Accents introduce a rich, organic texture complementing the mauve-tinted beige walls. The room successfully avoids the "cold" feel of modern minimalism by leaning into the warmth of the earth.

▪️The vision that came to life: The room functions as a "sensory anchor." For an elderly guest, this environment signals that they are in a safe, controlled, and predictable space, which is the ultimate goal of cocooning design.

Nature inspires, we create.

Our design intent for this Master Bedroom was to balance the high-function needs of a working couple with a deep, restorative connection to the natural world.

▪️We tried to achieve the "earthy" feel through a rich layering of tactile materials.

1.The Bedside Sanctuary: The wall behind the headboard features large-format travertine tiles with organic horizontal veining.

2.Nature-Inspired Media Wall: Opposite the bed, the TV is set against a delicate, cream-toned wallpaper featuring ethereal branch silhouettes. This subtle botanical motif provides a "view" of nature even when the couple is indoors, acting as a creative backdrop for their downtime.

3.The Work Zone: Tucked neatly by the window is a rich walnut-toned desk. Positioning the desk here ensures the couple has access to natural light and views during their WFH days, which is vital for maintaining circadian rhythms and creativity.

4.The Relaxing zone: A minimalist daybed with bolster cushions provides a secondary spot to "log out" and read a book away from both the desk and the bed.

▪️Woven Accents: The floor-to-ceiling wardrobes feature woven rattan within grey frames. This adds a "craft" element to the room, softening the large surface area of the cabinetry.

▪️The vision that came to life: By utilizing raw stone textures, botanical motifs, and a warm, sun-drenched color palette, this room successfully functions as a "recharging station." It honors the couple's professional lives through a dedicated, light-filled workspace while ensuring that the visual environment immediately triggers a sense of peace the moment the laptop is closed.

Sophisticated Pink & Playful Elegance.

We recently designed a bedroom for our youngest client, a little girl, who dreamed of a 'pink room'.
But just like any other adult, her parents wanted a room which would look elegant and decent even when their girl grows up.

We came up with a design that uses an off white neutral paired with a textured pink surface in the lower 1/4th part of the space.

Use of elements such as fluid curves, variation in textures and built in furniture with a cozy seating, allowed us to successfully navigate the desire of a little girl's 'pink room' while delivering an elegant, age appropriate design that allows her to grow up in the space.

OFFICE OUTDOOR TERRACE: A CURVED PERGOLA DOMINATES THE TERRACE AREA, ADDING A DYNAMIC DESIGN FEATURE THAT PROVIDES PARTIAL SHADE WHILE ALLOWING SUNLIGHT TO FILTER THROUGH.

A MIX OF STRAIGHT LINES AND CURVES CAN BE OBSERVED THROUGHOUT THE DESIGN, WITH THE PERGOLA’S RADIAL BEAMS, CURVED PATHWAYS, AND ARCHED GLASS DOORS SOFTENING THE OTHERWISE LINEAR BUILDING STRUCTURE.

THE ROUGH-TEXTURED BEIGE WALL CONTRASTS WITH THE SMOOTH GLASS, POLISHED STONE, AND GREENERY, CREATING A VISUAL CONTRAST AND A RICH SENSORY EXPERIENCE.

THE SEATING ARRANGEMENT IS DIVIDED INTO DIFFERENT ZONES, INCLUDING A CASUAL
DINING AREA, LOUNGE SEATING, AND A COUNTER SPACE ALONG THE PARAPET WALL,
CREATING A MULTIFUNCTIONAL OUTDOOR SPACE.

THE SPACE IS DESIGNED TO BE A RELAXING, MODERN, AND FUNCTIONAL OUTDOOR AREA,
INTEGRATING ORGANIC AND GEOMETRIC FORMS WITH WARM, EARTHY TONES AND BOLD DE
SIGN FEATURES. THE BLEND OF TEXTURES AND MATERIALS CONTRIBUTES TO A BALANCED
AND VISUALLY APPEALING ENVIRONMENT, PERFECT FOR SOCIALIZING OR WORKING IN AN
OPEN-AIR SETTING.
