"A LUSH THREAD is a landscape design project that redefines privacy by treating nature as a form of living architecture, creating a sensory sanctuary guided by the principle, "Where the green threads conceal and reveal. The project is structured around the central metaphor of a "Lush Thread-a continuous, weaving tapestry of tropical flora that is manipu-lated to serve as both a visual and auditory barrier. Visually, this "thread" thickens with dense, layered foliage to form opaque screens, while in other areas it thins to create partially obscured vignettes, thus choreographing the act of seeing into a journey of discovery. Acoustically, the mass of vegetation absorbs and deflects external noise, while the natural soundscape of rustling leaves provides a calming auditory mask. By meticulously controlling these sensory inputs, the design cultivates an im-mersive, self-contained world, transforming a simple garden into a dynamic and living interface that offers a profound and resonant retreat from the outside world.

This landscape where nature gently creates a sense of privacy and pause.

Layering plantations, thoughtfully placing boulders, and existing green cover, the space is a visual retreat and a peaceful seclusion. From the soft rustle foliage to the textures of the stone to shape a sanctuary that feels both opened and enclosed at the same time!

Designed with basic virtues of Humanity and compassion, the layout carefully caters to every age group residing in this iconic High rise.

We are taking modern living to a whole new level and trying to get people as close to nature as possible.

Simple and minimalist designs are the most tricky to crack, it is about enhancing each space you create. It is also about maximising the experience with minimal intervention. That was the challenge that we took when we started this project. The water body with basalt stone cladded stone wall are centric to the whole design. This space can be used to spend time with family and friends or a space to ponder over alone. Just staring away at the reflection in the water while noticing the gentle play between lotus and water. While the buddhas statue sits atop giving a sense of calmness to the whole space.

Time for forest bathing, to unplug and immerse yourself and all your senses in nature. An alternative path in mids of forest, created to enhance the experience of anyone visiting this place. Still taking shape and yet it has transformed the space.
