On 16 July 2025, Assam Rifles intercepted a massive narcotics haul at Sajik Tampak, Chandel District - exactly the point we had highlighted recently as a key hub in the emerging TonZang–Churachandpur–Kangpokpi–Dimapur drug corridor.
Two abandoned motorcycles near a mobile checkpost led to the seizure of:
👉🏻50.5 kg of O***m (worth ₹2.52 Cr)
👉🏻Kyat 1.24 Cr (Myanmar currency)
👉🏻INR 2 Lakhs in cash
