‘Rentio Foods’ is a household name for over 85 years now. Started during the nineteen thirties, Rentio Foods commenced its journey with a motto - ‘We believe in the Best’, from then, Rentio has been the king of toor dal. Rentio Foods has consistently ensured that pulses don’t lose its nutritional value during the process. To address this, worlds best technology is used to ensure people would benefit from the highest nutritional values in its most organic form.
Rentio was selected as a brand name, during 1930's, When brand names were not even prevalent, for products, such as Toor Dal. One of the founder of Rentio was actively involved with Mahatma Gandhiji in the freedom movement since 1920's and as spinning for Khadi (cloth) was a daily routinefor brothers and members of the family hence when the question of selecting a brand name popped up, RENTIO (gujarati word for charkha) was unanimously selected.
