Not Sas Bahu, its Sahastrabahu Temple!
Built around 1093 CE by King Mahipala of the Kachchhapaghata dynasty, Gwalior’s famous Sas Bahu Temple is actually the Sahastrabahu Temple, dedicated to Vishnu. Set inside Gwalior Fort, this 11th-century twin temple complex is admired for its carved pillars, ornate ceilings, and refined North Indian temple design. Though partially ruined, its surviving stonework still reveals the scale and sophistication of medieval Indian craftsmanship.
