Design Lab I - IIT Kharagpur The Design Lab I of ARP, IIT Kgp will be focusing on showcasing the talents of the young individuals aspiring to be the 'Architects of Future'. Mainak Ghosh.

The Design Lab, is part of Basic Design sessional in Department of Architecture and Regional Planning, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. The lab is aimed at harnessing design knowledge. To develop an eye for design appreciation through hands on experience. Various short and long modules are exercised under the guidance of Prof. Joy Sen and Prof.

"Unboxing the Golden Mean". The golden mean rectangle and its sub-divisions have been unpacked and taken out of the rectangle, upto three levels of hierarchy, and spread out to create interesting patterns guided by the regulating lines generating out of the rectangle itself. Possibilities are endless! Kudos to B.Arch. 1st year students!
