There is something deeply special about seeing our design spaces through someone else’s eyes…
Our heartfelt thanks to Vikram Shivankar a talented guest, who so generously captured his experience of our unique beach house on the coast of Konkan!
This was one of our very first project as designers—built with instinct, patience, and a love for simplicity. Set in a spectacular, almost untouched location in Konkan , the house embraces the quiet beauty of its surroundings… shaped with upcycled materials, weathered textures, and an honest, unpretentious spirit.
It is not a place of luxury but of character .For those who seek the charm of the rustic, the comfort of the simple, and the luxury of solitude—this is where the sea, the wind, and time slow down just enough.

I am fascinated by the Roaring Twenties it was a versatile and remarkable period that came to life when 1st interwar anxiety blended with the excitement about the new world. While some aimed to invent the aesthetic language of the future, others searched for their identities in the present. The style of Art Deco ambitiously presented itself as the quintessential popular style of its age. At the same time, intellectuals constructed new philosophies around jazz, politics, and explorations of the psyche.this statue lamp shade beautifuly crafted from the 20s epitomises the fashion the bob hair cut ,flapper dress (loose, dropped waist, knee-length, fringed/beaded) paired with bobbed hair, cloche hats, and long necklaces, reflecting a new, boyish silhouette.

A Special Delivery from Florence

A set of fabulous books has just arrived — all the way from Florence! Each one carries the scent of Tuscan hills and the memories of an unforgettable day.

During my recent visit, I had the rare privilege of being taken on a private tour of **Arcea Spaces** — the second-largest architectural firm in Italy. Their design ethos, blending innovation with heritage, was truly inspiring. From their sleek Florentine offices, I was then whisked away to their most extraordinary creation — a winery unlike any other

Hidden beneath the rolling Tuscan hills,this magnificent space feels like a cathedral of winemaking,designed so that the landscape of the Chianti region remains untouched — green, and timeless.
It was one of the most unique experiences I’ve had — and to make it even more special, these exquisite books were gifted to me by one of the Chief Architect Since they were too precious to carry, they’ve now arrived by post, thanks to the kindness of my dear friends Larisa and Ariel Bartolini.
Grazie mille — I will treasure them always.

We are incredibly grateful to Architectural and Builders Magazine for featuring our eco-friendly beach boutique cottage, nestled along the breathtaking coast of Konkan, surrounded by the world’s finest mango orchards. Crafted from locally sourced Chira stone and recycled architectural salvage, the cottage blends tradition with sustainability. Local artisans, armed with generations of wisdom, skillfully designed the space to withstand the region’s scorching summers and monsoon rains.
