The Table of Togetherness

When a family eats together,
they stay woven in love forever.
Here, terracotta jaali frames the threshold,
while a teakwood mural clock ticks in Worli art—
each hour etched with the rhythm of daily life.
On another wall, crockery rests in quiet pride,
storage that holds not just vessels,
but memories of meals shared.
This dining space is more than furniture—
it is the heartbeat of the home,
where Naayaab [Co-Labs] designs not just rooms,
but rituals of belonging.

The Lounge Story

Where Stories Sit Together ✨
A room of Pause, Play and Laughter—
where family gathers, friends are greeted,
and music of conversation fills the air.
The floor itself becomes a canvas,
geometric patterns tracing the rhythm of togetherness,
each line a path, each shape a memory.
Naayaab [Co-Labs] designs spaces not just to live,
but to belong—
where every gathering becomes poetry in stone and light.

The Foyer Story

Where chaotic floor dance with welcome,
a painting greets, storage steadies the everyday,
a mirror stretches daylight into infinite embrace.
Terracotta jaali whispers privacy,
while teakwood prayer wheels spin joy into ritual.
This foyer is not just entry—
it is an [ Invitation-Pause, and Play ]
Naayaab [Co-Labs] designs spaces that breathe,
where tradition and modernity flow together,
and every step feels like home.

WABI-SABI
PROJECT NAME: WABI-SABI
TYPE: RESIDENTIAL 4 BHK APARTMENT
LOCATION: EMAMI CITY, NAGER BAZAR, KOLKATA
AREA: 1,750 sqft.
Project Brief: The client said, “I don’t need a flat, I need a Home.”
Wabi-Sabi—an ode to beauty in imperfection.
Here, we chose not to conceal flaws, but to honor them,
painting upon the blank canvas of a home with freedom and trust.
The client walked with us, not behind us,
and together we shaped this rare masterpiece.
Right beyond the entrance lies the foyer—
a terracotta jaali, crafted to veil and reveal,
its spinning teakwood wheels echoing the prayer wheels of Sikkim,
its playful openings letting a child’s laughter
spill into her mother’s chase for Tojo.
The dining space holds the heartbeat of the house—
a grand clock etched in Worli art,
7 feet by 3.5, twelve sections for twelve hours,
each narrating the rituals of daily life,
with time itself at the center.
The living room greets with music—
a wall feature shaped like a guitar,
a symbol of harmony and joy.
Even the floors speak:
hallways marked with circles and directional lines,
a master bedroom grounded in linear calm,
diagonals weaving rhythm into rest.
Flat arches reframe the beams,
turning passageways into elegant alleys.
This is not just architecture.
It is poetry in stone, wood, and light.
It is Naayaab Co-Labs—
where tradition and modernity breathe together,
and every imperfection becomes art. 🏡🌿

MINIMO
The master bedroom’s headboard was created using stucco over gypsum boards in the style of primitive minimalism. The couple who are clients are very well-off culturally. The better half is a reader, and the other is an author. How ideally matched! With the exception of some simple furnishings and paint, we haven’t altered the walls in the master bedroom because they both desire a tranquil atmosphere.

The All-Rounder
Standing tall and solid, the partition serves as a shoe cabinet on the entrance side, with some extra storage for keys and stuff, and as a crockery unit on the dining side. A floor to ceiling multi-purpose furniture that serves almost everyone, but also creates a partition between the public and semi-private areas.

The Hearth
The Hearth of the house, makes place for multiple activities. The TV wall entertains, stores knowledge, showcases your achievements and also hides one of those secret storages inside the wall. The Partition takes care of the shoes, your car and house keys, and some other small stuffs you carry on your day to day commute. On the other side, it serves as a crockery unit for the home-maker. In an abstract ideation for the accent wall, it flaunts a beautiful 5’x5’ painting, with a shelf cutting through it. The living space overlooks a beautiful scenic view from the window, with a touch of terracotta and some greens. The partition stretches out the clock of the house on a linear canvas of ethnic Madhubani painting. The lighting and colour of the space has been kept on the bolder and warmer side of the palette.
