The company was founded in 1927 in the workshop of carpenter Albert Nothdurft. Over the next 30 years, the company grew consistently and eventually moved to Pfullendorf, where it is still based today. In 1958 ALNO Möbelwerke GmbH + Co KG was officially founded. A kitchen like this will last for at least 20 years. For the sake of quality, we prefer to have control over every stage of the process – that is why ALNO kitchens are “made in Germany”. We have had a passion for building good kitchens for over 80 years, and we know what’s important: first-rate materials, skilled craftsmen, technical precision. We check carefully every stage in the creation of each ALNO branded kitchen, from receipt of goods to final assembly. Unit base panels are tested for resistance to bending. Hinges are tested for long term durability. Surfaces have to pass the abrasion test and prove their resistance to chemicals. Our quality management system, which has been perfected over the years, ensures a high level of production. And some pieces of furniture are even finished off by us by hand.
