The imported high-density timber wood: Sylvan Ply is made of imported high-density timber core and veneer, this variety of plywood has a density which is much higher than the ordinary ones. This makes our ply more compact and dimensionally stable. Imported high-density timber has natural straight grains that make the plywood warp-free and the logs completely stress-free. Imported high-density timber plywood is extremely smooth and durable. This variety of ply also offers more resistance to moisture, as well as borers and termites. The New Zealand pinewood & American yellow pinewood: This semi soft-wood is durable, termite resistant, and has a low shrinkage capacity, which contributes majorly to its stability. This variety of wood is denser and more resinous as well. It is mainly used in making Blockboards for high-value carpentry. Our Vision

- 1951- Stepped Into The Business: In the year 1951, the Singh Family from Kolkata, stepped into the business market, pioneering the trade of timber logs.
- 1998- Manufacturing of SAWN Timber: Mr. Singh, from the Singh Group went global for the first time to accomplish the need for raw materials and initiated the manufacturing of SAWN timber and other products.
- 2009- Big Step by entering into Plywood Manufacturing: This year proved to be a crucial year for the Singh Group, as the company took a big step by entering into Plywood manufacturing, under the flagship of Singh Brothers Exim Pvt. Ltd.
- 2010- In 2010, the company received ISO 9001 certification for Quality Management System for the Baidyabati Unit in West Bengal, ISO 14001 certification for Environmental Management System, approved for Baidyabati Unit, and OHSAS 18001 certification for Occupational Health And Safety Management System.
- 2014- Honoured as ‘India’s Most Promising Brand In 2014 In London’: Sylvan Ply was honoured as ‘India’s Most Promising Brand 2014’ during the prestigious event ‘The Global Indian Summit’ on 21st of July in London, initiated by WCRC ( World Consulting Research Corporation) along with their process advisor, ‘ERNST & YOUNG.

- Our Factory- The factory of Sylvan Ply is located at Baidyabati, Shrirampore, which is 45 Km from Kolkata. Since our inception, we have procured extensive experience in every aspect of the production process and have incorporated necessary changes for the betterment of our services.
