"കര്ത്താവിന്റെ മേഘം പകല്സമയത്ത് കൂടാരത്തിനു മുകളില് നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; രാത്രിസമയത്ത് മേഘത്തില് അഗ്നി ജ്വലിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇസ്രായേല്ജനംയാത്രയുടെ ഓരോ ഘട്ടത്തിലും ഇതു ദര്ശിച്ചു."
