At Moose and Malt, the island bar counter is designed to be the heart of the space, offering seating all around for an immersive experience where every guest can enjoy the artistry of bar tricks and bottle displays. In a unique design feature, modified glass pieces encircle the central tree, creating a water-like effect that adds to the bar's natural aesthetic. These glass elements were crafted from accidentally broken pieces on-site, transforming a mishap into a stunning design statement that embodies sustainability and creativity.

The existing steel roof was seamlessly transformed into a sleek steel decking, creating an inviting seating space that harmonizes with its surroundings. Our design for Moose and Malt focuses on creating a seamless connection with nature while ensuring comfort and functionality. By incorporating planter boxes along the building's edge, we've allowed for continuous openings that maximize natural light and ventilation without compromising on protection from driving rain. This thoughtful approach ensures an open, airy atmosphere, with seating carefully placed to offer patrons a sheltered yet immersive experience. Our goal was to design a space that celebrates nature while maintaining comfort and elegance.
