Architecture meets nature in this stunning design for The Garden Villa Residence by Archinch Design Studio LLP. This isn’t just a home; it’s a breathing ecosystem designed to thrive in the heart of Lucknow.
Here’s how this project is setting a new standard for Green Architecture:
🍃 A Facade That Breathes
The villa’s identity is defined by its “living walls.” By integrating perforated brick screens and teak wood slats, the design ensures the home stays naturally ventilated. These elements act as a traditional jaali, filtering the hot summer winds and dappling the sunlight for a cool, serene interior.
🏡 Passive Cooling & Smart Planning
Forget relying solely on AC. The building uses thermal massing with hand-moulded bricks and deep-recessed windows to block harsh solar heat. The staggered floor plates create natural shading, while the open-plan layout encourages cross-ventilation, keeping the energy footprint remarkably low.
🌳 Sky Gardens & Green Roofs
Every level is a green escape! From intensive green roofs to vegetative planter beds, the greenery does more than just look good—it acts as natural insulation. These gardens regulate the micro-climate, absorb rainwater, and provide a private sanctuary in an urban setting.
🧱 Honest Materials
Sustainability is in the details. The palette features:
Hand-moulded Bricks for a timeless, earthy feel.
Sustainable Timber & Composite Slats for durable, low-maintenance finishes.
Textured Grey Stucco to reduce heat absorption.
