The family lounge - a double-height volume designed to be the center of activity for the house and its residents. It is separated from the formal lounge with a tall glass partition wall, fitted with fabric glass to ensure privacy. Unlike in the formal space, the furniture ( ) in this area offers a sense of modernity to serve as a visual distinction between the two spaces and their use case. 

Sweeping full-height windows ( ) make up one wall of this lounge and are framed with curtains on either side. These allow ample light to enter, flooding the entire common area with and breathing into the space.

A distinct highlight of Aadishree is the grand that graces the common area of the house next to the family lounge. A sculptural element in its own right, the metal staircase has a wide platform as its base that defines the area in the otherwise open floor plan. In contrast to the grey Iceberg marble () used for the residence’s flooring, a darker Black Marquina stone is used for the steps, bringing attention to it as soon as one walks in. 

A glass railing with black profile, a double-height wall clad with tile in the background, and sleek lighting fixtures from complete the entire composition. Further, the staircase is accentuated by a human-size sculpture from at its base.

The feature wall of the family lounge is the main TV wall, with full height windows on its right and the staircase area on its left. The paneling is designed to blend effortlessly with the house and also provide a focal point for the entire family area. With warm walnut brown shutters, grey shelves, and vibrant but sophisticated white Statuario marble () for the backdrop, it ties together the color designed for the entire house and brings it to the fore.

Continuing with a similar aesthetic, the family ( )  is planned right next to the open dining area and designed for everything to be within an arm’s reach, making it a perfect setup for an Indian kitchen. 

The entire area is centered by an island breakfast table clad in black , bringing a touch of elegance. It is an area complete with a palette that is with the classic wood and white combination with the only pop being the grey tile on the backsplash.

The dining area of the house extrudes a sophisticated aura, wherein an expansive table comfortably seats eight. The piece has an exquisite marble top  and a central support that makes a statement, right from the get-go. A chandelier hangs above the table - a perfect fit for the space - while tall cabinets make up the backdrop for this symphony of tones, accents, and classic wooden elements.

Our recent project's interiors span various styles, giving each room a life of its own. The formal lounge, separated from the family area by a full-height display unit, is rooted in its traditional and crafted with only a hint of elements. The center table showcases intricate brass inlay work that is balanced by its molded metal legs while the rich wooden ( ) stands out with its detailed wooden carvings and plush fabric upholstery ( ) to elevate the look further. All in, creating a space that looks regal.
