Juliet rose was bred and introduced by David Austin of the UK in 1999.
2. Flower Characteristics: The flowers are soft apricot pink or light champagne in color, with a cup-shaped form, richly layered petals, and a faint tea fragrance.
3. Sun and Rain Resistance: Moderate sun tolerance, prone to scorched edges in high temperatures; average rain tolerance, prolonged dampness can lead to petal rot.
4. Plant Size: Approximately 80-110 cm tall and 60-90 cm wide, compact and upright, suitable for potting or border planting.
5. Frequent Blooming: Repeated blooming in multiple seasons, abundant flowering, long-lasting individual blooms, rapid reblooming, slightly less impressive in summer.
6. Disease Resistance: Moderate disease resistance, regular prevention of black spot and powdery mildew is needed; prone to fungal infections in poor ventilation.
7. Adaptability: Cold-hardy to around -15°C, requires winter protection in northern regions; easily enters dormancy in low temperatures but recovers strongly in spring; good heat tolerance, flowers become smaller and fade in high temperatures, requires shading and watering.
