The Lantern Greenhouse

Instead of placing the inflatable above, this concept wraps the architecture itself in a translucent, double-layered skin — turning the building into a glowing volume.

A slim 12-meter steel tower holds a vertical circulation core, enclosed by a quilted ETFE/PVC membrane that acts as both climate buffer and visual identity.

At the base, the thermal envelope creates a controlled environment for seedlings.
At the top, the structure transforms into a luminous beacon for the village at night.

The twist — the skin is alive.
Air pressure is modulated to let the building subtly breathe, expanding and contracting through the day.

Architecture becomes not just shelter, but atmosphere.
