A large storage solution designed to feel integrated rather than imposing.

This bedroom previously had storage scattered across almost every corner, making the space feel heavy and leaving very little room for comfortable circulation. We decided to consolidate all the storage along one wall—from end to end—rather than adding multiple individual units around the room.

This seven-door swing wardrobe now takes care of the clients’ storage requirements while freeing up the rest of the bedroom and allowing much better movement around the bed.

For a unit of this scale, the finishes had to remain visually subtle. We chose a soft beige, fabric-inspired finish framed with sleek wooden borders, with a continuous wood-finish band running across the shutters. The band also creates a visual break across the large wardrobe and holds the sculptural antique-finish handles, adding character to an otherwise understated composition.

A storage solution that doesn’t just accommodate more—it allows the entire bedroom to function better.

This bedroom had storage in almost every corner, a bulky bed, and barely enough space to move around. The first thing we changed was not the look, but the circulation—everything had to work better before it could look better.

We replaced the scattered storage with a wall-to-wall wardrobe, divided into dedicated sections and kept only as deep as necessary. A new standard-height bed with rounded corners and a raised base opened up the movement around it, while the upholstered floral headboard became the room’s statement element.

The rest of the room was kept warm and understated, bringing together travertine-inspired flooring, dark natural wood and traditional-inspired details with a contemporary approach.

A bedroom where better planning made space for both function and character.

At just 7’ × 3½’, the challenge was to fit everything without making it feel like a compromise—dry area, shower, vanity, storage, niches and even a conventional swing door.

The key was planning every element before ex*****on.

• A stone partition separates the vanity and shower while reducing glass and maintenance.
• A custom wood vanity adds warmth and substantial storage.
• Flush storage behind the mirror keeps the countertop clean.
• Planned wall niches make use of otherwise unused depth.
• A carefully worked-out swing door makes a conventional door possible even in a 3½’-wide bathroom.
• A layered palette of grey terrazzo-inspired tiles, sea-green pencil tiles, black stone, warm wood and black-chrome fittings gives the compact space its own character.

Small spaces don’t necessarily need less design. They need better design thinking.

A severely underutilized 7’ × 7’ space was reworked into two fully functional bathrooms. After sharing the powder room + utility, here’s the compact master bathroom—now privately connected to the bedroom.

At just 7’ × 3½’, the challenge was fitting everything without making the space feel compromised. The solution was precise planning from the very beginning.

Key design decisions that made this compact bathroom work:

• Private entrance from the master bedroom — converting a common-passage bathroom into a truly private master bathroom.

• Two-inch stone partition — defining the vanity zone while avoiding the maintenance of a full glass enclosure.

• Custom wood vanity — adding warmth and generous storage without overwhelming the narrow space.

• Hidden storage behind the mirror — keeping the countertop clean while making use of otherwise unused wall depth.

• Planned wall niches — including a dedicated shower niche, incorporated into the layout from the start.

• Carefully worked-out swing door — proving that even a 3½-foot-wide bathroom can accommodate a conventional door when the layout is solved properly.

• Layered material palette — grey terrazzo-inspired surfaces, sea-green pencil tiles, black stone and warm wood bring contrast and depth.

• Black-chrome fittings — tying the darker elements together for a refined, cohesive finish.

This 7’ × 7’ area was once one of the most underutilized spaces in this home.

It originally had a WC, a washbasin in front of it and a separate bathroom accessed through the washbasin area. The washing machine was kept inside that bathroom, where it would regularly get wet because there was no proper separation between the wet and dry areas.

We demolished the entire arrangement and replanned the same footprint to create two separate washrooms — an attached master washroom with proper wet and dry areas, and this compact 3’6” × 7’ powder room with laundry and utility built into it.

With such a narrow footprint, every inch had to work.

At one end, we accommodated the washing machine with a usable counter above it and a dedicated janitor closet beside it for mops, brooms and other utility essentials. Enough circulation space was maintained in front to comfortably operate the washing machine without interfering with the WC or washbasin.

Storage was also carved into the wall behind the mirror, allowing us to add everyday storage without consuming precious floor space.

Visually, we intentionally kept the room simple. Two closely related neutral tiles were combined to create subtle bands across the walls and a linear pattern on the floor, while black stone and fixtures add contrast and the wood finish brings warmth.

For us, this is what designing a compact space is really about — not trying to squeeze in everything possible, but planning everything it needs without making the space feel compromised.
