From passport stamps to our dining table 🇻🇳✨
Last weekend, we hosted our friends for a Vietnamese-themed dinner night at home. Complete with a formal menu, homemade dishes, and all the little details that made it special.
A few months ago, returned from Vietnam with a Pho spice mix for me and I told her, whenever we make this Pho, we’re eating it together. After months of planning calendars and schedules, we finally made it happen. ❤️
On the menu:
☕ Bạc Xỉu – Vietnamese iced coffee softened with sweet condensed milk.
🥖 Bánh Mì – Crisp baguette loaded with chicken satay, pickled veggies, and fresh herbs.
🌯 Gỏi Cuốn – Fresh rice paper rolls with prawns/chicken and a savoury dipping sauce.
🍜 Phở Gà – Comforting chicken pho with fragrant broth, noodles, and fresh toppings.
🥭 Chè Thái – Tropical coconut dessert with mango, tadgola, tapioca pearls, and young coconut.
Everything made with love, laughter, and teamwork. Special credit to Gaurav for being the best co-host & helper, and to Sayli for jumping into the kitchen and making the night even more fun 🤍
Some dinners are just meals… and some become memories. ✨
