For Soumil and Poorva, the answer wasn’t a bigger home. It was a chance to build one that felt generations old. 

Inspired by traditional Maharashtrian Wada architecture, this 1200 SQFT Mumbai home is filled with details that tell a story. 

In a city obsessed with making space feel larger, this home focuses on making it feel richer. This is a home built from two apartments, but shaped by family, memory and tradition.

We’re spotlighting one of our most loved Home Tours. A 3600 SQFT bungalow style apartment in Pune designed by Amoeba Design (.design) for Shreya Mantri (), founder of the home decor brand Altrove.�
Spread across two floors, this home draws from Shreya’s time in Brooklyn, where exposed textures, warmth, and lived in charm meet the ease of Indian sensibilities. It also doubles as her creative lab, a space where every Altrove (.in) product is first tested, styled, and lived with before it reaches the world.�
A home that isn’t just designed, but constantly evolving - reflecting Shreya’s life, her brand, and her belief that beauty lies in everyday living.

A home that reveals itself slowly. At first glance, this 1100 SQFT Mumbai apartment feels minimal and restrained but look closer and the intent becomes clear. Every decision, from reworking the layout to extending the balcony into a liveable corner, is rooted in how the family actually lives. Storage is integrated, not added on. Spaces are flexible, not fixed. And a quiet palette of oak, whites and soft textures holds it all together.

Tucked away in Bangalore, Neela () and Ravi’s () 3800 sqft bungalow is a warm ode to their roots in Coorg and Mangalore. Growing up in tiled homes surrounded by open spaces, courtyards, and lush greenery, the couple wanted to recreate that same sense of harmony with nature. Designed by De Earth, the home beautifully bridges nostalgia and modern comfort.
