The heart of this lounge is designed as a shared gathering space.

At the centre, an island-style seating arrangement creates a natural point for conversation, connection, and pause. Framed by seating on all sides, the sculptural statue becomes the focal element—adding character, scale, and a sense of presence to the space.

More than just a seating area, it acts as an anchor that brings the entire lounge together, making the space feel both inviting and alive.

Every element of this digital lounge was designed to guide, welcome, and create a seamless experience from the moment a guest walks in.

The flooring combines two shades of vitrified tiles, laid in a flowing pattern that naturally leads visitors towards the reception and into the lounge. Above, we kept the ceiling language minimal and clean, allowing the space to feel open and uncluttered. Open lighting adds functionality, while a decorative hanging fixture above the reception desk introduces a warm focal point.

Completing the experience is the backlit signage wall, designed to anchor the reception area and create a strong first impression without overwhelming the space.

RECEPTION

At the heart of Mumbai Central Railway Station, we designed a digital lounge that feels warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully connected to the people moving through it every day.

From the reception desk crafted in flowing Korean material to the wooden rafter-inspired entrance that balances privacy with curiosity, every detail was designed to create an inviting first impression.

A space where movement meets comfort, and design quietly shapes the experience.
