One of India's HIGHEST chances of seeing a TIGER isn't the wildest thing about this place.
Swipe and read till the end to find out interesting bits about this little-known gem that's home to an exceptionally high density of the Royal Bengal Tiger.
Tucked away in Maharashtra's Yavatmal district, Tipeshwar isn't as well-known as Tadoba or Bandhavgarh. Yet, within just 148 sq km, it has one of the highest tiger densities in the country—making it one of India's most rewarding places for spotting tigers.
Right on the edge of this extraordinary wilderness sits .resort — one of Tipeshwar's newest nature retreats, sharing its boundary with the forest itself.
What makes Untamed Paws even more remarkable is a commitment that extends far beyond the guest experience. More than 16,000 native trees have been planted across the property, restoring habitat, encouraging biodiversity, and helping the resort become part of the landscape rather than simply occupying it.
That philosophy shaped every decision behind the landscape.
Instead of clipped hedges and perfectly manicured gardens, we chose a language that felt untamed. Natural stone. Layered planting. Sweeping grasses that dance with the wind. Lily ponds that quietly mirror the sky.
Designed.
But never over-designed.
Wild.
But never chaotic.
Before working on the design, our founders, Angud and Komal, spent days walking, watching, sitting quietly, studying how the land rose and dipped. Where the light lingered. Which views naturally drew your eyes towards the forest.
Because when your neighbour is one of India's most remarkable tiger habitats...
..the landscape shouldn't steal the show.
It should gently prepare you for the wild waiting beyond.
