Job Summary
1. Create design concepts keeping in mind the client’s needs and preferences within estimated timelines and project costs
2. Plan the space with furniture, materials, furnishing, lighting, wall treatments, flooring, etc
3. Work closely with the client and our internal design teams to finalize home design, 3D and GFC drawings
4. Collaborate with the Contractors to ensure your design turns into reality seamlessly
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
1. An active listener. Paying attention to your client’s every need to deliver their dream home
2. Selling design should come naturally to you
3. You should have strong visualization and conceptualization abilities
4. Passionate about colors, shapes, architecture, 3Ds and all things related to design
5. You follow websites/ magazines/ blogs that help you stay updated on design trends and improve your skills
6. When push comes to shove, you don’t let go of your calm and composed attitude
7. You can communicate impeccably in English, be it verbal or written
8. Your Google Sketchup and AutoCAD skills are unmatched and indisputable
9. You have an eye for detail. Nothing escapes your scrutiny. No design detail goes wrong under your supervision
10. You are self-motivated to be the absolute best at what you do
11. Design is your life but you also dabble in sports or arts or music or any other hobby to keep yourself stimulated.
