If I had to choose or recommend one jasmine variety for a garden - small or large , limited sun 4 hours or full it would absolutely have to be the water jasmine or wrightia religiosa .

Mine is in a small 8x8 inch pot , planted at the edge of the pot and the petite branches reaching out of the grill to catch maximum sunlight ( planting in the middle of the pot delays the sun exposure by 2 hours ) and the plant has been blooming constantly since about 3 months filling the living room with its intoxicating fragrance . Warmer weather has triggered profuse blooming and the plant is weighed down by the weight of mutilple umbel shaped inflorescence. A perennial, a must have ❤️.

I gifted a plant to my sister which is in a 4 inch pot with barely an hour or so of direct sun and her plant is blooming too .
