Flying Roof House aka ‘KODATH HOUSE 2019’ is a 5000sqft house designed inside 18cents of land near to Cochin Airport.
The house is stylised version of traditional modernism carefully done analysing the micro climate, ecology, client’s special requirements and lifestyle.
With limited plot area, house is an excellent example of functional space utilisation combined with aesthetical beauty. Blending nature with interiors has made the common spaces sublime and rich.

The front elevation is very cinematic with tactile presence of hollow brick bricks which also protect the house from southern heat. Interiors are well defined, functional, very warm and welcoming with right use of wooden textures.

Walking through the front door of this home gives a feeling of calm and coziness. What a pleasant ambiance with lot lot of natural daylight pouring in from the double height; making this corner my favourite.
