Sharing a video which will make modak / Poorna Kozhukattai look amazing during this coming Chaturthi Ganesh Festival. Even though it shows how to wrap dumpling, I still call it Japanese Kozhukattai. It's been grandfather's years since this shape of kozohkottai has not changed and its time now to do it. Please leave the old fashion of wrapping and try this for a change.

Iyer Brahmins - Why are we here?

Brahmin’s are generally more orthodox and they give more importance to the spices they include in their cooking. Be it Pepper, cumin, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, these spices are used often in our cooking. We at Iyer Brahmins want to bring the best home made products to you. Every time you use our product it will bring back memories of your childhood and your mother’s hand made food.
Home-made things are way healthier. At least we can be sure of the process and what went into the actual preparation. These days commercial processes in a factory manufacturing, one can notice that the ingredients are sun dried on the cement flooring in unhygienic and with the winds blowing and gathering all sorts of dust… Though this may not be the case with all products, I am still a little hesitant to use products from cottage industries. We can’t be sure that the 'ready-made-easy-to-use-time-saving' product is actually hygienic! Even if the home made product takes time, we can be confident that we made it in the right way even though it takes a little time. Thus we ensure that every product at Iyer Brahmins has a personal touch and you are rewarded with a complete sense of satisfaction.
