Where Art Meets Interaction: A Studio Blurring Lines Between Inside and Out. Here's Artrovert from
The studio was envisioned not as the typical introverted artist’s “cave” but rather an extroverted residency where the creation of art and the living of the artist are shared with her precinct.
Inviting an immersive experience of art, the studio comprises of rugged, large volume workspaces, spread across the basement and ground floors and an overlooking mezzanine study. The top floor is two room residence arranged around a terrace, for artists for short duration stay. A sloping front lawn is opened up for theatre-style public screenings and talks.
Spaces are created as an unraveling rather than as a construction, revealing as much as concealing. Two materially contrasting yet filial bands loop and coil forming the various spaces across multiple levels. These are book-ended by a grey steel armature that works as gallery, working scaffolding and circulation space providing vantages from different heights. The panels are detailed to swivel to share the finished art on them publicly. And conversely, an externally created mural may be turned inward with multiple permutations of such arrangements. Tall and narrow interstices are glazed against the outside while vertical slits cut through the internal volumes. Formed, thus, as a conversation between binaries, the design hopes to offer multiple views and varying perspectives through a multilevel space.

Know more about the 'parasite"
Nestled between lush forests and majestic views at Kotabagh, these mini homes are crafted to harmonize with their surroundings. 🌿
The idea was to create a living space that feels like a natural extension of its surroundings. These parasites are designed to be dismantled, thus returning the land back for it's original use.
Our goal was to create homes that connect deeply with nature while minimizing their footprint. The stilt design ensures stability and allows natural water flow and wildlife movement, embodying a symbiotic relationship with the environment. The combination of masonry and metal provides both durability and a modern aesthetic, supporting the temporary yet robust nature of the homes. Extensive glass facades blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, allowing uninterrupted views of the forest and mountains, enhancing the connection to nature.
Our vision for these PARASITES was to create a living space that respects and harmonizes with its environment. We wanted these homes to feel like a natural extension of their surroundings, offering residents an immersive experience in nature while ensuring that the land could return to its natural state.

Understand Better with
One of the most captivating features of our project is the aesthetic window overlooking the Lotus pond. This window, like a frame to a masterpiece, is crafted with thermopine, fixed on a glass. It's a seamless continuation of our design language, creating a visual and experiential connection between the interior and exterior spaces.
The choice of materials isn't just about aesthetics; it's a conscious decision to blend nature with modernity, creating a harmonious living space that resonates with the surroundings.

A play of claddings and textures ! READ more..
Our design ethos embraces the beauty of natural materials, and the wooden look takes center stage in our façade. The louvers, meticulously crafted with thermopine , are not just decorative elements but functional wonders. These louvers, fixed on metal C channels, create a dynamic play of light and shadow, offering privacy and ventilation while adding a touch of warmth to the exterior.
One of the most captivating features of our project is the aesthetic window overlooking the lotus pond. This window, like a frame to a masterpiece, is crafted with the same material and metal C channels . It's a seamless continuation of our design language, creating a visual and experiential connection between the interior and exterior spaces.

The warp of the handmade and weft of the verdant position this design away from the industrial. The interweaving of precisely turned wooden louvres and vertically installed planters allows the vegetal to enmesh with the structural, coalescing into internal and rooftop gardens.

Keep Swiping, Keep Reading! >>
One of the most interesting areas from the Outré House. It's a testament to the beauty of integration, where two elements coalesce seamlessly to create a space that not only functions but also inspires. The thought process behind this design element involved a deep understanding of spatial dynamics, and user experience of the space.
This intricate element not only required meticulous planning but also some in depth structural considerations to material choices.

From - OUTRÉ HOUSE
Large urban residences are registries as well as articulations of filial, financial and aspirational value. Catering as much to their inhabitants’ needs as to their whims, they are, simultaneously, spaces of private indulgence as also objects of a more socially motivated aesthetic expression. Little wonder then that the luxurious and the exotic are sought in various ways from their design. As processes of globalized supply and demand, impact construction, fabrication and procurement logistics, greater value seems to be drawn from the extrinsic or exotic in terms of materiality and the machined in terms of form and technology.
OUTRÉ HOUSE attempts a rediscovery of the singular and distinctive, specifically, in the working of humble materials; on site and by hand. It attempts to do so by recent ring the umbilical bond between making and material. From bespoke concrete formwork and poured flooring to curved joinery and rhythmically notched masonry, the design releases its handmade construction from the shackles of the straight line, giving it flight. It, thus, allows crafted details to overlay each other and to swarm all over the design rather than be restricted merely to points of material intersection.
