Every stone used in this Tree of Life came from somewhere else in the home.

The colours you see here are the same stones running through the floors, walls and surfaces of this house. Every room contributed to this one composition.

Designed as a mandir backdrop, this stone inlay installation becomes more than a sacred corner.

The home, comprising itself into the Tree of Life.

8x4 tiles in a bathroom that does not fit 8x4. The standard solution is cutting and wasting. Ours was designing around it.

Skirting at the base, full tiles in the mid, vertical groove pattern with the same tile running the top of the wall all around. One tile, three uses, zero waste.

The constraint became the design.

Pitampura Project, Elevation Detail.

The choice of breeze blocks for the balcony came from wanting the facade to breathe visually and literally. Once the design was decided, the ex*****on followed a clear process.

An 8x8 grid was laid out to keep the placement precise. Silicone filled the joints. The entire assembly was fixed onto a steel structure for strength. A final layer of microconcrete will go over it to bring the finish to what the design always intended.

From a decision on paper to something you can run your hand across on site. This is what the journey of a detail looks like.

One detail that quietly changes the entire feel of a space.

Handleless shutters. The recess creates a natural grip while keeping the surface completely clean. No hardware, no interruption, just one continuous face.

Depending on the design, the recess can take any form. A simple groove, a sculpted curve, a geometric cutout. Each one a different character, the same principle.

It is the kind of detail most people feel before they notice it.

Pitampura, Residential Elevation.

There is something deeply satisfying about a facade that reads as one continuous thought. Microconcrete across the entire surface gave us exactly that. A seamless, monolithic skin that carries the eye from the gate to the crown without pause.

The breeze blocks in the balcony and parapet came from a simpler question. How do you let a building breathe while still giving it a strong visual character. Wood sits beneath them, grounding the composition and bringing a warmth that concrete alone cannot carry.

A flawless slab finish does not happen by chance. It is a result of the right measures taken before the concrete is even poured.

Tape and oiling on the shuttering to ensure the surface releases cleanly. Adequate gap around sleeves so concrete flows through without voids. Fan boxes placed correctly by the electrician before casting begins.

Miss any one of these and you are looking at honeycombing, exposed steel, or a finish that needs heavy rectification.

A client came to us mid construction. Ground floor already cast. Walls going up. And a plan that had serious issues with ventilation and light.

This is the kind of problem most architects walk away from. We did not.

With limited flexibility on what could be changed, we worked within the existing structure to redesign what was still possible. Every blunder identified, every correction applied where the build allowed it.

Good design is not always about starting fresh. Sometimes it is about salvaging what can be saved and making it work.

Vrindavan Ashram — Satsang Hall.

A space designed to hold devotion. The lotus ceiling, the arched jali walls, the crystal chandeliers, every element echoes the grandeur and reverence this space was always meant to carry.

The paintings woven across the interior tell the Katha of the divine. A story unfolding within the architecture itself, drawing every soul that enters deeper into the world of the Lord.
