As someone committed to organic and grassroots farming, I believe India too can strengthen such models blending our rich traditional knowledge with modern community-driven systems.

During my visit to Anuga, I had a wonderful meeting with representatives from various food companies worldwide. It was a great experience, reminiscent of the BIOFACH event in Nuremberg, Germany, which I attended earlier this year in February. I also had the opportunity to connect with some people I had been planning to meet for a long time. Overall, it was an excellent event for networking and learning.

Had a wonderful visit with Veerji bhai, a fellow farmer from my taluka who’s deeply committed to natural farming. Despite being a small and marginal farmer, Veerji bhai has taken the initiative to rent additional land, where he grows a variety of vegetables and sells them directly to customers. It’s inspiring to see such dedication and hard work paying off, and it brings a great sense of satisfaction to witness farmers like Veerji thrive and prosper. Had an opportunity to eat at his place. 🌱🚜
