“A perfect blend of geometry, texture, and light, where form, function, and finesse come together beautifully. This house is a modern minimalist architectural design that beautifully balances clean geometry, open spaces, and natural textures. Let’s go through its major design features:
1. Architectural Form
• The building is designed using rectilinear volumes (clean boxes) stacked and intersecting each other, giving it a modern cuboid composition.
• The asymmetrical layout creates visual interest and avoids monotony — the right side projects forward while the left side recesses slightly.
• The use of a floating frame element (rectangular frame on both floors) emphasizes structure and frames the overall façade beautifully.
2. Material Palette
• The exterior uses neutral earthy tones — grey plaster with a slightly textured finish — offering sophistication while allowing greenery and details to stand out.
• Glass railings enhance transparency, making the upper balcony and lower porch feel open and connected to the outdoors.
• Wooden elements, such as the vertical slats and the ceiling louver detail, bring warmth and contrast to the grey base tones.
• The concrete jaali (screen) adds both privacy and style, filtering light beautifully while maintaining ventilation.
